I had always intended to do a "thank you video" once I caught up with the Vatican. (I still intend to do a proper one as soon as time permits). However a recent acceleration in subscriber rates caught me off guard. I suspect that you tube user brusspup may have caused this, so thank you brusspup. (Why he has that picture troubles me! Should I be afraid?) There need not necessary be a conflict between science and religion. Provided religion, and the religious, don't trespass into the arena of science. I have no problem with people holding their own personal religious beliefs. But please do not seek to impose them on me. In my view all religious claims, such as geocentricism, a 6,000 year old earth, a global flood, etc have been debunked by science. All that believers now have to rely on is "personal experience". If that is so then they should admit it. They should stop trying to convince people that they have evidence to support their claims. And they should stop trying to convert me on the basis of their personal convictions.
