"We really drive each other crazy," she says. "We really know how to push each other's buttons." Rach asks, "So ... who wins?" "Well, me of course!" jokes Kate. "Women always win -- it's just a matter of time. We might let them win sometimes, but eventually we take the cake." All ribbing aside, Kate says she's excited about Matthew becoming a dad. "I think he's going to be a wonderful father," she says. When talking about her own child, Kate opens up about the effect that the paparazzi have had on her family. "It bothers me, it bothers my parents," she says. "Ryder doesn't know what that is -- he's 4 years old. It's aggressive and it's bizarre to him and it makes him self-conscious. Kids should always be kids. They should never be self-conscious of what they're doing, ever." Kate says that this kind of aggressive behavior should be illegal. "As far as I'm concerned, a kid should just be allowed to be a kid."
