Descripción de Lima, Peru:
I decided to leave my job, buy a one-way ticket to South America and figure everything else out later. This is the first of what will become many videos of my South American trip/life. On June 4, 2008, I landed in Lima, Peru. My "plans" were to relax a couple days and head straight to Machu Picchu. But plans were meant to be changed -- I ended up staying more than a week and returning several times. I didn't expect much from Lima, but after spending a couple days there I found it hard to leave. One of the oldest cities in Latin America, Lima surprised me with beautiful architecture, cathedrals, parks and a vibrant nightlife. If Lima hadn't welcomed me so warmly into South America, my entire trip may have been very, very different. So, for all it's worth: Thank you, Lima, for being such a cool city.
