Proposal project for my future wife. I've always loved the scene in Love Actually where Andrew Lincoln presents a series of poster boards with things written on them to Kiera Knightly and wanted to expand on that idea with some thoughts of my own. After getting my words down, I wanted to pick the right soundtrack to my project. So why not go through a few different options with an illustration of a boombox and some handy work with the help of some movie-making software? You'll see me going through some hits, misses and a close call with some less than romantic lyrics (depends on how you look at it i guess). Once I found my song, it was time to get my message across. Once I was ready to present this video, I sent a text to Jen (who at the time was very sick and was lying in bed) with instructions to peek out the bedroom door. She was greeted by a trail of rose pedals that led her into our office on the other side of the house and I was nowhere to be found. Once she watched and followed the instructions to exit out the back door, there I was waiting with a ring. And you saw how the rest went. We felt it to be appropriate to marry on 3-17-12 (St. Patrick's Day)! GINGERS UNITE!
